The Big O is getting excited about this Serie B showdown! America Mineiro has been finding the net regularly lately, averaging 1.40 goals per game over their last 10 matches. They've been involved in some cracking encounters - that 3-1 thrashing of Ferroviária and the 2-2 home draw with Novorizontino show they're not afraid to get involved in goal-filled affairs.
Cuiaba might be struggling away from home with a 0% win rate on the road, but they've still been contributing to the goal party. Their recent 2-2 draws against Botafogo SP and Vila Nova, plus that entertaining 1-3 loss to high-flying remo, suggest they're not coming to shut up shop. They're averaging exactly a goal per game overall, but bump that up to 1.25 when traveling.
The head-to-head history really gets The Big O's juices flowing - 5 out of 9 meetings have gone Over 2.5 goals, including their last encounter which finished 1-3. Both teams have found the net in 55.6% of their previous matchups.
When you combine America Mineiro's 60% BTTS rate with Cuiaba's 50%, and factor in the goal expectancy sitting at 2.69, you've got all the ingredients for a proper goal fest. The home side's improving form (1.80 points per game recently) against Cuiaba's declining away performances creates the perfect scenario for an open, attacking game where goals are on the menu.
The Big O sees value here - the bookies have this at 2.25, but the data suggests we've got a better than even chance of seeing at least three goals hit the back of the net!
