Right, so we've got Ham-Kam hosting Rosenborg in the Eliteserien on 24 October, and let me tell you, this one has a pretty clear shape to it if you look at what both sides have been doing. Grab your beer, because the numbers here don't really leave much room for debate.
Rosenborg have been absolutely cooking. In their last 10 games across all competitions, they've won 8, drawn 1 and lost just 1. They're scoring 3.5 goals per game and conceding only 1.1. In their last 5, they've gone 4 wins and 1 draw with no defeats, scoring 13 and conceding just 3. Their last three away games in particular have been dominant: 3-0 at Sarpsborg 08 FF on 18 October, 3-1 at Kristiansund BK on 19 September, and 4-1 at Flรธya on 16 September. That's 10 goals from those three trips, and they've kept one of them clean.
Now look at Ham-Kam. Their last two home games have been ugly: 0-2 to Bodo/Glimt on 17 October and 1-5 to Molde on 13 September. In their last 10 games overall, they've managed 3 wins, 2 draws and 5 losses, scoring 1.7 per game but conceding 2.2. Their last 5 has been 2 wins and 3 losses, and they've conceded 12 goals in that stretch. The current run is a loss, and it's the kind of loss where you score nothing and concede two.
The head-to-head is mostly historical, and I'll be upfront about that. The one meeting within the last 12 months was at Rosenborg's ground on 5 September, and Rosenborg won 4-0. At Ham-Kam's ground specifically, the record goes back further: Ham-Kam won 4-0 on 28 September 2025, and Rosenborg won 2-0 on 10 November 2024. So it's been split at this venue, but those are older games and I wouldn't put too much weight on them.
The counter-argument, and I'll give it fair play, is that Ham-Kam's home record over 20 games is actually decent: 11 wins, 2 draws, 7 losses, 1.75 points per game. They score 1.95 per game at home and concede 1.5. And Rosenborg's away record over 20 games is 7 wins, 3 draws, 10 losses, which is not great when you look at the numbers. So if you just look at the long-term venue splits, Ham-Kam at home aren't the team you'd automatically write off.
But the recent form tells a very different story. Rosenborg are scoring at a rate that Ham-Kam's defence simply cannot handle right now. Ham-Kam have conceded 12 goals in their last 5 games, and their last two home results were 0-2 and 1-5. That's not a team that's going to sit in and frustrate Rosenborg. And Rosenborg haven't failed to score in any of their last 10 games.
Key Points:
My verdict: Rosenborg away win at 1.62.
