Right, lads, it's Juventus at home to Lazio, and if you've been following the numbers, this one's got the smell of a tight, low-scoring affair about it.
Let's start with what the ground record tells us. Juventus at home over their last 20 games have kept 12 clean sheets and conceded just 0.6 a game. That's a solid defensive record, mate. Lazio on the road over 20 away games have scored 1.1 a game and conceded 0.75. The under 2.5 line is sitting at 1.92, and the market's pricing it at 52.08%. I'd put my own number a touch higher, around 55 to 58%, because the venue records keep pointing the same way.
The head-to-head adds a bit of spice. The last time these two met at Juventus's ground, back in February, it was 2-2. That's over 2.5, sure, but it was a single meeting. The older meeting at the same ground was 1-0. And across the full 35-game history, 19 of those 35 went under 2.5. The recent meeting at Lazio's ground was 1-0. So the pattern leans tight.
Juventus's recent form is a bit mixed. Three wins, a draw and a loss in the last five, including that 0-1 friendly loss to Cremonese that stung. But they've won their last two home games before that — 2-0 to Atalanta and 5-0 to NEC — and their xG against has been sitting around 0.64 a game over six matches. That's a defence that's hard to crack.
Lazio, though, are in a bit of a groove. Three wins and two draws in their last five, no defeats. They've scored in every one of those games. The 3-1 over Monza and the 2-0 at Venezia show they've got the edge. But their away record over 20 games tells a different story — 1.1 goals a game, and 15 of those 20 went under 2.5. They're not the team that's going to flood the zone on the road.
The counter-argument is real, though. Lazio's recent form is sharp, and that 2-2 at Juventus's ground in February showed both sides can find the net. If the game opens up, the under 2.5 line could wobble. And Juventus did lose to Cremonese at home, which, even if it was a friendly, showed the defence isn't impervious.
But when you stack up the evidence — 13 of 20 under at Juventus's ground, 15 of 20 under on Lazio's road, 7 of 10 under for Juventus in their last 10, and the full H2H leaning under — the under 2.5 is the one that keeps showing up.
Key Points:
- Juventus at home: 12 clean sheets in 20 games, 0.6 conceded per game
- Lazio away: 15 of 20 games under 2.5, 1.1 scored per game
- Recent H2H at Juventus's ground: 2-2 draw (February 2026)
- Full H2H: 19 of 35 meetings under 2.5
- Both teams' last 10 games lean under 2.5
My tip: Under 2.5 goals at 1.92.
