Backing Fjolnir is more fun with the right bookmaker in your corner. A sharp price on the match result, a welcome bonus with fair terms, a cash out button for when the game turns: small things, but they add up over a season.
Below you'll find the two sites we rate most for Fjolnir matches, a five-step route from sign-up to your first slip, the markets worth knowing and how we'd hunt for value in Reykjavik Cup. Let's get you set up.
Fjolnir are fighting on two fronts this season (Reykjavik Cup and 2. Deild), so check the team news before you bet when the fixtures pile up.
Two bookmakers, two different strengths, and we're happy to put our name to both.
1xBet scores 4.6 out of 5 in our review, and it's our first pick. Big football matches can carry more than 2,000 markets, top-flight prices are sharp, and you get full and partial cash out plus free live streams once your account is funded. New customers get a 100% match on their first deposit, up to €100 in most countries. Read our full 1xBet review.
22Bet rates 4.5 out of 5 and is built for punters who bet every week. The welcome bonus doubles your first deposit up to €122, then the value keeps flowing: a 100% reload every Friday, a boosted Accumulator of the Day and a weekly rebate on everything you stake. Free HD live streams and the option to sell your bet slip round it off nicely. Read our full 22Bet review.
Our advice? Open both. Having two prices to compare on every Fjolnir bet is the simplest edge you'll ever get.

Getting from a standing start to your first Fjolnir bet is a quick job. Here's the route.
You don't need to learn a thousand markets. These four cover almost every bet worth making.
The classic 1X2: Fjolnir to win, the draw, or the opposition. Simple, and usually the best-priced market on the card. If a draw is your main worry, double chance covers two of the three outcomes for a shorter price.
Our go-to market when Fjolnir are heavy favourites or big outsiders. The handicap evens the game up, so you're betting on the margin rather than just the winner, and whole-goal lines hand your stake back if it lands exactly on the number.
Forget who wins and bet on how the game plays out. Over 2.5 goals needs three or more in the match; both teams to score just needs each side to find the net. These are perfect when you've a feel for the game but not the result.
Both sites price corners and cards on the bigger fixtures, and 1xBet piles in player specials too. 22Bet's bet builder lets you stitch several selections from one football match into a single bet, which is a fun way to back your read of the whole game.
Both 1xBet and 22Bet pick an Accumulator of the Day and boost its odds by 10%. Check them on matchday: if Fjolnir are in there and you already fancy them, that's extra value for a bet you were making anyway.
Backing your team with your heart is part of the fun. Backing them with your head is how you stay ahead. Here's the checklist we run before every slip.
The last five or six games tell you far more than last season's finish. Look past the results to the performances: a side winning ugly can be due a fall, and one losing narrowly is often closer to turning a corner than the table suggests.
Plenty of teams are one side at home and quite another on the road. Split Fjolnir's record by venue before you bet, especially on goals markets, where the gap can be huge.
Every division has its own rhythm. Some are tight and cagey, others throw up goals for fun. Get a feel for how Reykjavik Cup usually plays out and the prices that look wrong start jumping off the page.
A winning bet at a bad price is still a bad bet. Decide what you think the odds should be, then only play when the bookmaker is offering more. Our free football tips make a good sounding board, and the betting calculators show you an acca's return before you commit.
In-play is where watching the game pays off. Give it fifteen minutes, see who's controlling the ball and whether the tempo matches your pre-match read, then strike when the price drifts your way.
Both sites make it easy. 22Bet streams major events free in HD with live stats alongside, while 1xBet's Multi-LIVE view puts several matches on one screen, which is ideal when Fjolnir share a kick-off slot with half of Reykjavik Cup. Cash out is the other big weapon: 1xBet offers full and partial cash out on singles and accas, and 22Bet lets you take part of your stake off the table or sell your bet slip outright.
1xBet doubles your first deposit up to €100 in most countries, and 22Bet goes up to €122 or the local equivalent. Both are wagered 5x on accumulators of three or more legs at 1.40 or bigger, with 30 days to do it at 1xBet and seven at 22Bet.
No. 1xBet credits the bonus automatically after your first deposit, and at 22Bet you just pick the sports bonus when you register.
Yes. 1xBet offers full and partial cash out on singles and accas, before kick-off and in-play. 22Bet offers partial cash out and lets you sell your bet slip on eligible bets.
Yes. 22Bet streams major events free in HD, and 1xBet streams to funded accounts, with Multi-LIVE for following several games at once.
E-wallets and crypto are quickest: 1xBet payouts often land within minutes, and 22Bet's within the hour once you're verified. Cards take a few working days, so upload your ID early.
Absolutely. 1xBet's iPhone app is on the App Store, and 22Bet's is listed there in a number of countries, with a full-featured mobile site everywhere else. Both Android apps download straight from the bookmaker's own website.
Betting on Fjolnir should add to the matchday buzz, never take away from it. Set a budget before kick-off, stick to stakes you're comfortable losing and never chase a bad result. If it stops feeling like fun, take a break.
