Preview
The strongest case in this fixture is written in the home-and-away records. AZ Picerno's 20-game home record stands at 7 wins, 8 draws and 5 losses, averaging 1.4 goals scored and 1.15 conceded per game at 1.45 points per game. Cosenza's 20-game away record is 3 wins, 7 draws and 10 losses, scoring 0.95 per game and conceding 1.65, at just 0.8 points per game. That gap in points per game is the single clearest signal here.
The head-to-head at this ground reinforces the point. In April 2026, AZ Picerno beat Cosenza 3–1 at home — the only meeting at this venue within the last 12 months. The reverse fixture at Cosenza's ground in December 2025 went 1–0 to the hosts, so each side has taken one win at their own ground, but the recent meeting at this venue belongs to AZ Picerno.
Cosenza's recent form is the most damning evidence. They have won none of their last five, losing the last two without scoring a single goal — 0–2 at home to Foggia on 4 October and 0–1 at Bari on 26 September. Over their last 10 games across all venues, Cosenza has managed 1 win, 2 draws and 7 losses, scoring just 0.7 per game. Their away record over 20 games shows they have failed to score in 7 of those 20.
The counter-argument is AZ Picerno's own recent form. Four losses in their last five, including a 2–4 home defeat to Catania on 15 September and a 4–2 away loss to Potenza on 4 October. They have not kept a clean sheet in any of those five matches. However, their last 10 across all venues still shows 5 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses at 1.6 points per game, which is a world away from Cosenza's 0.5. The 20-game home record remains the more reliable guide, and it tells a story of a team that scores and wins regularly at home.
The 1.9 price on AZ Picerno's win reflects the market's 52.63% implied probability. The football evidence — the home record, the away record of Cosenza, the head-to-head at this ground, and Cosenza's scoreless last two — points to a slightly higher likelihood than the market is pricing. I rate AZ Picerno's chance of winning at roughly 55%, which sits above the market's view and gives a genuine edge at this price.
Key Points:
- AZ Picerno's home record (7W 8D 5L, 1.45 ppg) dwarfs Cosenza's away record (3W 7D 10L, 0.8 ppg)
- Cosenza have lost their last two without scoring and won just 1 of their last 10
- The only meeting at this ground in the last 12 months ended 3–1 to AZ Picerno
- AZ Picerno's recent form is shaky (1W 4L in last 5) but their 20-game home record remains solid
- Cosenza's away scoring averages 0.95 per game while conceding 1.65
Verdict: AZ Picerno home win.
