How we record tips at real bookmaker odds, seal them, never delete a bet and settle every result on the 90 minutes. Units, voids and NO BET explained.
A tip on TipsterCompetition is a small, fixed record: a match, a selection, the real bookmaker odds available at that moment, and a timestamp. Once it is made, it is sealed. This page explains exactly how that works, from the moment a tip is issued to the moment it is settled.
Every tip is recorded at the real bookmaker odds available at the time it is issued. We do not use made-up prices, rounded prices or the best price we could find after the fact. The price in the record is the price that was on offer when the tip was made.
That matters because odds move. A tip at 2.10 that later shortens to 1.90 was still a 2.10 tip, and our record says so.
Once a tip is recorded, it is sealed. The selection, the odds and the timestamp never change. Nobody can edit a tip to look smarter after the match, and nobody can quietly swap the price for a better one.
No bets are ever deleted or removed from history, win or lose. A bad weekend stays on the record exactly as a good one does. If a record could lose its worst results, it would be a marketing page, not a track record.
Settlement is deliberately simple and applied the same way to every tip.
Voids stay visible in the record too. They are not removed.
Sometimes a model looks at a match and finds nothing worth backing. In that case the preview says NO BET: the model found no value, so no tip is issued.
This is a feature, not a gap. A tipster who bets on everything is not showing judgement. Knowing when to stay out is part of the skill, and a NO BET is never counted as a win or a loss because no tip was made.
We measure results in units rather than pounds, so the record means the same thing whatever size of bankroll you play with.
