Tottenham have had some absolute ballers over the years. Here are the players every Spurs fan knows and loves.
Jimmy Greaves - The Greatest?
Most Tottenham fans will tell you Jimmy Greaves is the best to ever pull on a white shirt. The numbers are ridiculous - 266 goals in 379 games, including 220 in the league alone. His goalscoring record still stands, and he's widely regarded as one of the greatest English players of all time.
Harry Kane - The Boy Done Good
Local lad, Academy graduate, became one of the best strikers on the planet. Kane scored 265 goals in 411 Spurs appearances - second only to Greaves. He was club captain from 2023, led Tottenham to that 2025 Europa League win, and left as a bona fide legend. Proper Tottenham story.
Gareth Bale - From Left-Back to World Beater
Bale's journey at Spurs was something else. Came through as a promising left-back, developed into one of the most devastating attackers in world football, and became a Tottenham legend. His performances in Europe were absolutely unplayable at times, earning him two PFA Players' Player of the Year awards.
Son Heung-min - A Fan Favorite
Nine years at Tottenham, captain from 2023, played a massive part in that 2025 Europa League win. Sonny's pace, finishing, and just generally being a top bloke made him a hero to the Spurs faithful. When he left for LAFC in 2025, it genuinely hurt to see him go.
